While pregnancy can be an exciting time, it is not uncommon for women also to experience worry and anxiety. Some women are nervous because of a history of infertility or pregnancy losses; or be worried about their health or the baby's; or feel overwhelmed by all that needs to be accomplished before the baby arrives. In a supportive circle, learn simple techniques like breath work, visualization, and gentle movements to release the tension in your mind and body. We'll also identify patterns of negative thinking that can trigger anxious thoughts, and use behavioral strategies to promote relaxation and emotional wellness.
This group is for those who are at any stage of pregnancy, first or subsequent.
